When Daryl saw the beautiful batik fabric and stunning pattern for the 2025 Block of the Month program, she enthusiastically offered to make the sample and cut the kits for Calico Gals. She was in the process of completing the blocks when she passed. It was a sad day when her sisters, Sheila and Carrie, brought Daryl’s blocks, along with the patterns and fabrics back to the store.

Cindy graciously accepted the task of completing the quilt In honor of Daryl's memory, Cindy shares Daryl's love of quilting and is committed to carrying out this work with the same care and artistry that Daryl would have.
