Named after the Circle of Friends quilt block, also known as the Friendship Star, the Circle of Friends Club at Calico Gals will meet monthly to form friendships around the love of quilting. The gatherings will feature 3 quilt block patterns, the history and stories associated with each block and sewing tutorials. Plus, members of the club will receive a 15% discount on selected products and fabrics of the month. Oh…and yummy treats will be provided, of course!

The first session of the Circle of Friends Club will meet for 5 months on the second Wednesday of each month. In this first session, we will focus on the Civil War time period and work from a Quilt in a Day Quilt book entitled, Underground Railroad Sampler by Eleanor Burns and Sue Bouchard.

2nd Wednesday of each month beginning February 14, March 13, April 10, May 9, June 12 (May 9 meeting is on Thursday)
