Calico Kids with Karen Cross Monday, August 29 10:30 am - 1:30 pm New! A fun series of beginner sewing classes designed especially for kids ages 8–16! Whether you've never touched a sewing machine before or are ready to build your skills, this class series will teach the basics of sewing through exciting projects that are designed for success. Students will learn to safely use sewing machines and sewing tools while creating projects they'll be proud to take home. Projects include a patchwork pillow, a tote bag, and a Techy Rest—a handy stand for holding tablets, phones, and other screens. Best of all, there's no need to bring a sewing machine. We'll provide the machines and tools, so kids can focus on learning, creating, and having fun! Karen will guide students step-by-step, helping to build confidence, creativity, and sewing skills. This class makes the Tote Bag. *Cancellation policy: If you must cancel a class, please do so at least 7 days before the start of class. Refunds issued as store credit. Store credit may also be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of class if the space is filled by another student.
