Use your serger to the max! Bring in any serger project and before you know it, you’ll have it finished. Any brand of serger is welcome—just be sure to clean, dust and thread it first. Serging goes smoother with sharp needles, so bring a few new ones with you. And don’t forget your project instructions. You’ll feel so good once you’ve completed your project!

Curvy Log Cabin Snowman

We will be making an old classic with a new twist! We will use the curvy log cabin ruler to construct a curvy log cabin quilt. We will discuss the history of the log cabin block, many placement options for the log cabin blocks to make unlimited design variations, how to choose contrasting fabrics for the best design outcomes, rotary cutting and pressing basics, use of new ruler and other tips to improve the accuracy when constructing the log cabin block.

The classic log cabin block can be adjusted slightly to give it a curvy outcome. And with curves, you can make all sorts of fun things . . . like snowmen! Join Pam and create this adorable snowman for a table runner or wallhanging. These guys whip up quickly in time for holiday gift giving.
