Playing with Color and Texture
Mar 7 @ 10:30 am – 4:30 pm

With Sharon Bottle-Souva

Who doesn’t like to play with color and texture? Explore the use of color, value and texture in this fascinating, hands-on workshop. Transform original designs into quilt blocks, that when repeated, will develop into secondary patterns and beyond. With Sharon’s encouragment, draw simple designs from your imagination or from inspirational photos. Use your sketches as patterns for your block. Reverse raw-edge applique gives a 3D look to your design. This workshop includes instruction of value and color that transfers to fabic choices and achieves a strong and dramatic design.
