This pattern works great with small and medium prints. Make a four patch and add a border. Learn a new technique to add a “cheater border” to give your quilt a little something more. Add even more interest to your quilt by placing those blocks on point for a great lap quilt. Perfect for Advanced Beginner and Intermediate quilters.

Fidget quilts contain fun “feely” fabrics and small items to fiddle with. Create a fidget quilt personalized for the person for whom you are making it. Go home with lots of ideas for making more fidget quilts. Class fee of $35 includes class, pattern, an assortment of “fidget” items to attach to your quilt and a selection of textured fabrics. Bring your own textured fabrics to swap with the group!

Moving from traditional to your own design can be a fun-filled adventure. In this class, learn to draft a traditional star pattern and later to produce one of your very own. Go home with your own unique quilt block that may be used to create a small wall hanging or keep going to make a bed quilt. Instruction includes drafting a pattern, choosing fabric for a successful quilt with borders and lattice for a great design. Class instruction results in an approximately 24″ square wall hanging.

In class one, learn the technique as you prepare and start cutting fabrics. In class two cut out your fused design, add background and finalize. No sewing machine needed for either class!

The focus will be on quilting in the hoop. Experiment with using various features including fills and stippling. Learn to save and duplicate, create appliques and add personal details to your quilting. Fabric panel is included with class.
