Dancing with the Stars with Julie Burger

Join Julie for this new and fun monthly paper piecing club. Create an intricate paper pieced star block each month for 12 months. At the end of the year you have enough blocks to assemble your own “Dancing” star quilt. Jump in any month and be a star! This class is for intermediate paper piecers—Paper Piecing 101 or proficient paper piecing skill is recommended. Fee: $15 first class, $10 each additional club meeting.

Blooming Nine Patch with Sue Ellen Romanowski

Syracuse, 2 Wednesdays, February 8th & 22nd, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
If you can make a 9 patch, then you can make it bloom! Sue Ellen has taught this quilt in a color theory/design class in the past. Now she is incorporating those lessons and adding a hands-on segment so you can design and sew your own Blooming Nine Patch. Learn to create the illusion of colors melting into one another. Start small and watch your quilt grow. Fee: $38
